From June 9 to 11, 2026, the 18th Shanghai International Water Show (WATERTECH CHINA 2026) was held at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (NECC) in Shanghai (Hongqiao). As the world’s largest water treatment industry event, this year’s exhibition covered 180,000 square meters of display space, bringing together over 2,500 leading brands and attracting more than 100,000 professional visitors from 175 countries and regions.
At this annual flagship event of the water treatment industry, Wuxi Yosun Environmental Equipment Co., Ltd. made a strong impression at Booth 6.1 H356 with its core products. Through a “dual showcase” approach featuring an actual DAF unit alongside a 3D printed model, Yosun Environmental presented its technical expertise and manufacturing capabilities in solid-liquid separation to both domestic and international visitors. Over the three-day exhibition, the booth attracted a steady stream of professional buyers, engineering companies, design institute representatives, and industry experts from around the world, generating broad interest and numerous cooperation intentions.
Core Products – Dual Showcase Makes It More Intuitive
DAF Unit (Actual Unit + 3D Model Display)
Unlike many exhibitors who relied primarily on display panels and brochures, Yosun Environmental brought an actual DAF unit to the show floor, allowing visitors to closely examine every detail – from materials and welding quality to piping layout and scraper mechanism. The equipment body is made of high-quality stainless steel, with smooth welds, clear piping layout, and a smoothly operating scraper mechanism – every detail stands up to scrutiny.
“When the actual equipment is right in front of you, you can tell at a glance whether the workmanship is excellent and the materials are robust,” said a technical manager from an environmental engineering company in Jiangsu.
Even more noteworthy, the booth also featured a scaled 3D printed model of the DAF unit, with its internal structure fully visible: the dissolved air system, water distributor, scraper drive mechanism, and other key components are clearly presented. The actual unit demonstrates durability, while the model reveals sophistication – the two complement each other perfectly. Our technical staff explained the working principles while pointing at the model, then guided visitors back to the actual unit to identify the actual structures, making complex solid-liquid separation technology easy to understand.
With over ten years of technical accumulation, Yosun’s DAF unit features advanced flotation technology: microbubbles of just 10-30 μm for extended retention time in water; a surface load as high as 10-30 m³/(m²·h) for a compact footprint; gas-liquid mixing efficiency exceeding 95%; and solid-liquid separation efficiency of 80-97%. It has been widely applied in wastewater treatment and water reuse across multiple industries.
Lamella Clarifier (Technical Documentation Display)
Yosun’s other core product – the Lamella clarifier – was not physically present at the booth but was showcased through detailed technical brochures and project case studies, attracting significant interest from design institutes and engineering companies. Through its unique inclined-plate structure design, the Lamella clarifier significantly increases settling area. For the same treatment capacity, its footprint is only 1/5 to 1/3 that of a conventional sedimentation tank, with effluent SS stably maintained below 30 mg/L. It has proven applications in surface treatment, textile printing and dyeing, landfill leachate treatment, and other fields, and is particularly suitable for space-constrained projects as well as municipal and industrial wastewater upgrading.
Over the three days, our technical brochures and case study collections were reprinted twice. A design institute engineer commented: “A footprint only one-fifth of a conventional tank – that’s crucial for our retrofit projects.”
Domestic and International Customers Gather at the Booth for In-Depth Exchanges
Over the three exhibition days, Yosun Environmental‘s booth maintained consistently strong traffic. In addition to professional visitors from across China – including Xinjiang, Shandong, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Shanghai – we also welcomed international customers from Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Europe, and other regions who made special trips to visit us.
A procurement manager from a water treatment engineering company in Thailand, accompanied by an interpreter, carefully inquired about the DAF unit’s material specifications, delivery lead time, and after-sales service. An equipment purchaser from the Middle East was so impressed with the 3D model that he took over a dozen photos on the spot to send back to his headquarters. A European environmental technology consultant engaged in a half-hour conversation with Mr. Zhou in fluent English, praising the compact design of the Lamella clarifier.
“Whether it’s the actual unit or the model, your display approach gave me a complete understanding of the equipment,” said a visitor from Malaysia. Most international visitors left the booth with complete English documentation and expressed their willingness to actively promote our products in their local markets.
Over the three days, the Yosun Environmental team conducted dozens of one-on-one in-depth technical exchanges with professional visitors from chemical, textile, food processing, electroplating, municipal wastewater, and other industries. International customer inquiries accounted for more than 20% of total consultations, covering Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Eastern Europe, and other regions. Multiple engineering companies, design institutes, and distributors established preliminary cooperation contacts with Yosun Environmental.
