Sludge Dewatering System uses the principle of screw extrusion to concentrate and dehydrate sludge in Complete within one device.
The front section is the concentration section, and the back is the dehydration section. When the screw shaft rotates, multiple fixed and movable laminations on the periphery of the screw shaft move relative to each other. Under gravity, sewage is filtered out from the gaps between relatively moving stacks to achieve rapid concentration. The concentrated sludge moves forward with the rotation of the screw shaft; along the direction of the mud cake outlet, the pitch of the screw shaft gradually decreases, the gap between the rings also gradually decreases, and the volume of the spiral cavity continues to shrink; under the action of the outlet back pressure plate, the internal The pressure gradually builds.
Driven by the continuous operation of the screw transmission shaft, the water in the sludge is squeezed out. The solid content of the filter cake continues to increase, ultimately achieving continuous dehydration of sludge. At the same time, the rotation of the spiral shaft promotes the continuous rotation of the swimming ring.
The equipment relies on the movement between the fixed and moving rings to achieve a continuous self-cleaning process, cleverly avoiding the common clogging problem of traditional dehydration equipment. The snail stacking dehydrator mainly comprises a snail stacking body, a spiral shaft, a driving device, a filtrate tank, and a mixing system. It is also equipped with a set of dosing devices.
Screw press is composed of Screw body, Driving motor system, Inlet mixing system, Collection water tank, Back-washing system, etc.
When running, the sludge is lifted to the mixing tank through the sludge pump, and the dosing pump quantitatively transports chemicals to the mixing tank. The Agitator drives to mix the sludge and the chemical agent to generate alum.
When the liquid level reaches the upper position of the liquid level sensor, then it gets the signal which makes the screw press main motors work. After that, the screw press starts to press and filtrate the sludge water flowing into the screw body. Under the working of the spiral shaft, the sludge is lifted to the outlet step by step, with filtration water flowing out from the gap between fixed rings and moving rings.

Filtration and sedimentation methods are often used when dehydrating sludge and separating solid from liquid. As far as filtration is concerned, filtration refers to the effective separation of solids and liquids in a mixed liquid. This method uses media blocking to achieve solid-liquid separation in the mixed liquid.
As far as sedimentation is concerned, solid-liquid separation can also be achieved in mixed liquids. The principle is that the densities of solids and liquids are quite different. Gravity fields and other methods can cause directional movement of solids, thereby achieving solid-liquid separation.
As shown in the figure, sedimentation includes centrifugal sedimentation and gravity sedimentation, among which centrifugal sedimentation includes disc centrifuge, tube centrifuge, tilting bridge centrifuge, etc.;
Filtration includes screen type and pressure filter type. Screen type includes vibrating screen, spiral screen, etc.; pressure filter type includes belt machine, spiral filter press, etc. Plate and frame filter presses, belt filter presses, centrifugal dehydrators, and stacked screw dehydrators are currently commonly used mechanical sludge dehydration equipment at home and abroad.
