Xizang China, known as the “Roof of the World”, has an average altitude of more than 4,000 meters. The region is characterized by thin air, low atmospheric pressure, and significant temperature differences between day and night.
In such extreme conditions, the stable operation of every environmental protection system represents a rigorous test of engineering capability and equipment reliability.
Recently, a Dissolved Air Flotation (DAF) System independently developed by Yosun Environmental Equipment Co., Ltd. has been operating continuously and stably at a domestic wastewater treatment project site in Xizang China.
With excellent treatment performance under challenging high-altitude conditions, Yosun’s DAF system has successfully delivered an outstanding solution for plateau wastewater treatment.
The project treats mixed domestic wastewater after anaerobic and aerobic biological treatment processes.

Based on the actual operating conditions of the project, Yosun’s engineering team carried out targeted optimization of the DAF system design.
The system was specially adjusted to ensure sufficient, fine, and uniform microbubble generation even under low-pressure plateau conditions.
Through efficient flotation separation, suspended solids can be effectively lifted and removed, achieving stable and reliable treatment performance.

With an SS removal rate exceeding 95%, the originally turbid wastewater becomes significantly clearer after DAF treatment, greatly reducing suspended solids and improving final effluent quality.
The dissolved air release system has been optimized specifically for low atmospheric pressure conditions, ensuring efficient microbubble generation without performance loss.
Even when treating wastewater with SS concentrations as high as 5 g/L, the Yosun DAF system maintains efficient solid-liquid separation performance with stable operation.
As an advanced treatment unit after anaerobic-aerobic biological processes, the DAF system effectively removes residual suspended solids and biological sludge from treated wastewater, ensuring improved final effluent quality.
