On June 28, our company welcomed a distinguished guest from North Africa – a representative of an environmental engineering company based in Africa. Although he came alone on this special trip, the trust and sincerity that spanned thousands of miles were deeply appreciated by all of us. Our team extended a warm and professional welcome, accompanying this friend from afar through a comprehensive factory inspection and technical exchange.
In the morning, under the guidance of our staff, the client first walked into the production workshop. He carefully observed the overall scale of the facility and the manufacturing processes, with particular attention to our dissolved air flotation (DAF) units and lamella clarifier. From welding techniques and material selection to complete assembly, he inquired about every detail and frequently used his phone to capture key steps. In front of the finished equipment, the client gladly posed for photos with our technical team and the units, expressing high recognition for our expertise in anti-corrosion treatment and operational stability. He remarked that the workshop’s standardised management and fine processing capabilities left a strong impression on him.
After the workshop tour, both sides moved to the conference room for in-depth discussions on technical solutions and potential cooperation. During the meeting, our technical staff presented product cases and parameter comparisons, addressing the client’s practical questions regarding treatment capacity, energy consumption, and maintenance costs. A particularly memorable moment came when we turned on the TV screen to project a world map. The client enthusiastically stood up, pointed out the location of his home country on the African continent, along with major cities and ports, and vividly introduced the current water resources situation and environmental policy trends in his region. This interaction not only gave both parties a more intuitive understanding of the project’s potential context, but also brought us closer – bridging technical cooperation and a shared appreciation of regional culture and market opportunities.
Towards the end of the talks, the client warmly presented our company with a thoughtfully prepared gift as a token of gratitude for our warm reception and professional expertise. This friendship, crossing the Mediterranean and the vast African continent, truly moved us. In return, we offered a souvenir with distinctive Chinese characteristics. In a cordial and friendly atmosphere, both sides agreed to move forward with substantive cooperation as soon as possible, jointly contributing wisdom and strength to water environment protection in Africa and beyond.
This visit by the African client, though a solo trip, was exceptionally meaningful. It not only served as another international validation of our product quality, but also marked an important step in expanding our presence in the African market under the framework of the BRI. Looking ahead, our company will continue to embrace global partners with an open and win-win mindset, enabling “Intelligently Made in China” environmental equipment to take root and thrive in more corners of the world.
