  • How To Evaluate Dissolved Air Flotation Performance
As the key to the dissolved air system, the performance of the flotation equipment directly determines the adhesion efficiency and pollution removal efficiency of the flotation process. Problems include uneven parameters, unstable performance, and lack of evaluation technology in the flotation equipment. To explore the factors affecting the flotation equipment, we conducted laboratory, pilot, and production evaluation studies on the performance and pollution removal effect of the flotation equipment, examined the relationship between the performance parameters of the flotation equipment and the pollution removal efficiency, and provided technical references for users who need to purchase dissolved air flotation equipment to evaluate the flotation equipment.   Read More>
  • Dissolved Air Flotation in Food Processing Wastewater Treatment
In the food and beverage industry, efficient wastewater treatment is essential to ensure environmental compliance and sustainability. Among the various technologies employed, Dissolved Air Flotation (DAF) has emerged as a highly effective method for treating wastewater generated during food processing. This article explores the role of DAF in food processing and addresses the question: What is mass loading in wastewater treatment?   Read More>
  • MBBR Media and Its Role in Water Treatment Systems
Water treatment has become increasingly vital as industrial and domestic wastewater loads continue to rise. Among the advanced technologies utilized in modern water treatment systems, the Moving Bed Biofilm Reactor (MBBR) process stands out for its efficiency and adaptability. At the heart of this system lies MBBR media, which plays a critical role in the treatment of wastewater. This article explores how MBBR media is used in water treatment and answers the question: What does MBBR media use in a sewage treatment plant?   Read More>

The pulping and papermaking process requires a large amount of production water. The wastewater generated by bleaching agents, fillers, and their reaction products are all pulping and papermaking wastewater. The primary sources of wastewater are the cooking waste liquid produced during the pulping and cooking process, the mid-stage wastewater produced during the middle stages of the pulping process (washing, screening, bleaching, and beating), and the paper machine white water produced during the papermaking process.

The lamella clarifier separates sedimentable suspended solids from liquids for the treatment of process wastewater. Compared with the traditional sedimentation tank, the lamella clarifier occupies a smaller area and settles suspended solids faster and easier in a given time.
The sedimentation performance depends on the effective sedimentation area and is independent of the sedimentation depth. Lamella plates are installed inside the tank as a module. The effective sedimentation area of lamella clarifier is the accumulation of the projected area of the lamella plates not the occupied area.

Lamella clarifier are structures in wastewater treatment that utilize the principles of sedimentation and filtration to settle suspended matter in the water. In terms of design, they can be divided into two types: gravity and inclined plate. Gravity type is to use gravity to make the suspended material sink.
