The sewage treatment process used in this project involves several stages, including coarse screening, fine screening, cyclone sand settling, oil separation, Shallow air flotation, magnetic coagulation sedimentation, hydrolysis acidification, CASS, coagulation sedimentation, filter cloth filtration, and contact disinfection. The air flotation effectively removes animal and vegetable oils, petroleum, and phosphorus. Before treatment, the raw water contains 100 mg/L of animal and vegetable oils, 20 mg/L of petroleum, and 5 mg/L of total phosphorus.
The shallow air flotation treatment system is a comprehensive water treatment solution that involves several stages, including mixing, coagulation, flotation, scum skimming, sedimentation, and sludge scraping. The pool used in this system has a diameter of 1,600 mm and is equipped with the latest high-efficiency dissolved gas technology. The return water is subjected to certain pressure conditions, which allow it to dissolve the gas to the maximum extent possible, making it saturated. This gas-infused water is then mixed with the raw water and released through decompression, generating many fine bubbles that thoroughly come into contact with the suspended flocs in the water. As a result, the suspended flocs adhere to the microbubbles and float to the water's surface, forming a scum that can be easily skimmed off. This process eliminates the raw water's suspended COD, SS, and total phosphorus.
After treatment, the effluent quality was significantly improved, the effluent indexes of animal and vegetable oils and petroleum reached about 1 mg/L, and the total phosphorus removal rate was over 98%.
